The Unseen

This is a photo of something I found in my house. It's actually not very close up, but the angle is what is off-putting. (Lamp)
This is a photo of something I wear everyday in the winter. (Coat)
This is a photo that I took from a different angle to make it difficult to identify. If I hadn't changed the angle, this item wouldn't be that strange.(blinds)
This one may be a bit more obvious, but I liked this picture because I felt the focus is drawn more towards the unseen area of the boots.
This is a section of a bookshelf in the stacks. I put the camera inside the shelf and turned it to the side, an angle no one usually sees

Why I Am Taking This Class

I am taking this class because it seems like a fun and interesting class with useful rewards.  I appreciate how this class is teaching us to adapt to how quickly media is advancing and how to use it to our advantage.  I hope to learn how to take some great pictures on my cell phone.

Photos that inspire me

These are two of my best friends and roommates, Meghan and Kasey.  The reason I love this photo so much is because not only does it remind me of one of the most fun nights of my time here at Catholic, but one of them was going down an escalator that was moving upwards and I love how it is impossible to tell which one is which in the photo.

The reason I have chosen this photo is because I took this on Veteran's Day as a friend of mine and myself were walking around DC.  The leaves seemed to frame the monument which is my favorite part.

I chose this photo because it reminds me of summer.  The photo makes it look a lot brighter than it actually was and I did not edit this picture at all!

I love this picture because of how I was able to take advantage of the straight line that these monuments are in and tilt it a little bit to show both of them.

This is my favorite picture of all time solely because of the subject in it.
